The Shire horse breed is known for having little impulsion. Shire horses are large draft horses that are bred for their strength and pulling power rather than their speed or agility. Due to their size and build, Shire horses typically have a more steady and slow-paced movement, lacking the quick bursts of energy and impulsion seen in other horse breeds. **

To ask for more impulsion during the trot, you can start by using your legs to encourage your horse to move forward. Apply light, rhythmic pressure with your lower legs to ask for more energy. You can also use half-halts with your seat and reins to engage your horse's hind end and encourage more impulsion. Remember to maintain a steady contact with your horse's mouth and keep a balanced position to support their movement. **

To sit a pony with a lot of impulsion, it's important to have a strong and balanced seat. Keep your weight evenly distributed in the saddle and sit deep to absorb the pony's powerful movement. Use your core muscles to stay centered and stable, and keep your legs long and relaxed to maintain a steady connection with the pony's sides. It's also helpful to have a soft and following hand to allow the pony to move freely forward while maintaining control. Practice regularly to develop the strength and flexibility needed to sit a pony with impulsion effectively. **

To ask for more impulsion in the trot, you can start by using your seat and legs to encourage your horse to move forward with energy and engagement. You can also use half-halts to rebalance and collect your horse before asking for more impulsion. It's important to maintain a steady contact with the reins and keep your horse moving actively from behind into a soft, elastic contact in front. Consistent and clear aids, along with praise for your horse's efforts, can help encourage more impulsion in the trot. **

To ride a horse with a lot of impulsion more easily, it is important to establish a strong connection with the horse through proper communication and aids. Using half-halts effectively can help balance the horse and channel its energy in a controlled manner. Engaging the horse's hindquarters through exercises such as transitions, lateral work, and collection can also help improve impulsion and make it easier to ride. Consistent training, patience, and a good understanding of the horse's natural movement and biomechanics are key to successfully riding a horse with impulsion. **
