No, the lateral edge and the lateral face are not equal in a square pyramid. The lateral edge is the line segment connecting the apex of the pyramid to a point on the base, while the lateral face is the triangular face that is not the base. In a square pyramid, the lateral edge is longer than the side length of the base, making the lateral edge longer than the lateral face. **

Lateral entrants can sometimes be initially unpopular due to various reasons such as perceived lack of experience or knowledge of the organization, potential threat to existing employees, or resistance to change. However, this perception can change over time as the lateral entrants prove their value, bring in fresh perspectives, and contribute positively to the organization. Lateral thinkers are not necessarily less stupid, but rather they approach problems and situations from different perspectives. They are able to think creatively and come up with innovative solutions by considering various angles and possibilities. While lateral thinking can lead to more effective problem-solving and decision-making, intelligence and stupidity are not solely determined by one's thinking style. It is important to consider a range of factors when assessing someone's intelligence or level of stupidity. **

Lateral thinkers are often ostracized because their unconventional ideas and approaches can challenge the status quo and disrupt traditional ways of thinking. This can make others uncomfortable and resistant to change, leading to the lateral thinker being seen as a troublemaker or outsider. Additionally, their tendency to question norms and think outside the box can be perceived as a threat to those who are more comfortable with the familiar and predictable. As a result, lateral thinkers may face criticism, exclusion, and even discrimination in social, academic, or professional settings. **

Lateral transport refers to the movement of materials or substances horizontally across a surface or within a layer. This can occur in various natural systems, such as in the movement of nutrients through soil, the transport of sediments along a riverbed, or the diffusion of gases through a membrane. Lateral transport plays a crucial role in the distribution of resources and the functioning of ecosystems, as it allows for the exchange of materials between different parts of a system. Understanding lateral transport is important for studying environmental processes and for managing natural resources. **
