The Play Store on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 8 tablet only shows 23 GB because the remaining 9 GB is likely being used for the operating system and pre-installed apps. This is a common practice in electronic devices, where a portion of the storage capacity is reserved for system files and essential software. Therefore, while the tablet has a total storage capacity of 32 GB, the available space for user-installed apps and data is 23 GB. **

The discrepancy between the advertised storage capacity of 32 GB and the available storage of 23 GB on the Samsung tablet Galaxy Tab 8 is due to the operating system and pre-installed apps taking up some of the storage space. This is a common practice among electronic devices, where a portion of the storage is reserved for system files and software. Users can also expand the storage capacity using external memory cards if they require more space for apps, photos, and other files. **
