Motion sickness is a condition characterized by nausea, dizziness, and vomiting that occurs when there is a disconnect between what the eyes see and what the inner ear senses in terms of motion. This disconnect can happen when traveling in a car, plane, boat, or amusement park ride. Motion sickness is believed to be caused by conflicting signals sent to the brain from the inner ear, eyes, and sensory nerves. It can be a temporary and uncomfortable sensation that typically resolves once the motion stops. **

It can be a temporary and uncomfortable experience for some people, but there are ways to manage and prevent flight sickness, such as sitting in a seat with minimal motion, focusing on a fixed point, and taking medication. **

Autism is not a sickness or disease. It is a neurodevelopmental disorder that affects how a person communicates, interacts with others, and experiences the world around them. While autism can present challenges, it is not something that can be cured or treated like a sickness. Instead, individuals with autism can benefit from support, understanding, and accommodations to help them thrive and reach their full potential. **

Decompression sickness, also known as the bends, is a condition that occurs when nitrogen bubbles form in the bloodstream and tissues as a result of rapid decompression. This can happen when a person ascends too quickly from deep water, such as in scuba diving. Symptoms can include joint pain, fatigue, dizziness, and in severe cases, paralysis or death. Treatment typically involves re-compressing the diver in a hyperbaric chamber to reduce the nitrogen bubbles in the body. **
